Maximum Flow on a Logistics Map

DC / Hub icons on a real map · line thickness = flow · Train (fat & slower) vs Truck (faster) · drag facilities · edit capacities live. Drag a facility or slide a capacity, then watch the max flow and the bottleneck change.

Train flow Truck flow Unused
✋ Drag any facility to move it - routes re-solve automatically

Result

Max flow · Port → Market
– train / – truck
Drag nodes or edit capacities, then Solve.

Mode shown

Train edges carry more but animate slower (heavier, less frequent). Truck edges are lighter and move faster.

About this tool

Maximum Flow on a Logistics Map

The concept

Max flow finds the most volume a network can carry from source to sink given arc capacities.

How it works

Augmenting paths add flow until a bottleneck cut saturates - that cut equals the max flow.

Winning strategy

Fix the min cut, not random links: capacity added off the bottleneck is wasted.

max flow = min cut
