VACCINE RUSH

A pandemic. Not enough vaccines. A whole city waiting. Two quick missions on one live city map - beat our algorithm.

Mission 1 of 2 · Split the doses

100,000 doses. Who first?

Tap a district to send a batch of 10,000 doses - watch it turn green (protected). Red districts protect more people per batch, but every district only needs so much. Extras are wasted!

Protected: 0 people
Mission 2 of 2 · Roll the trucks

Now deliver - same city

Your doses are allocated - now they must physically arrive. Each refrigerated van costs 1,200 pts and has 60 min before doses spoil. Tap hospitals in order to build each van’s route.

This is what logistics is.

Priorities, trucks, cold chains, hard trade-offs - for vaccines, floods, chocolate and concerts. Study Supply Chain at RMIT and this becomes your day job. Come see the Supply Chain Lab.

About this game

Vaccine Rush - allocation + routing

The concept

Two core logistics decisions from real vaccine campaigns, played on one live city map: who gets scarce doses first (allocation), then how refrigerated vans reach hospitals in time (vehicle routing with a cold-chain deadline).

How it works

Mission 1 rewards matching doses to risk without over-saturating districts. Mission 2 trades van cost against demand served within each van's 60-minute cold-chain window - on the same map your allocation just coloured.

Winning strategy

Fill the highest-risk districts to their need - no further - then run few vans on tight, high-demand routes.
